In this episode, I have the great opportunity to talk with a woman of incredible determination, a force of nature, a beautiful soul who ploughs her way despite the obstacles.
We go into the kitchen to meet Anto Cogagne, better known as Anto Cocagne Cocagne offers minimalist African cuisine with a French touch.
Of Gabonese origin, the daughter of an engineer and a nutritionist, her path seems to have been decided. However, she decides otherwise, cooking is her element, it's her passion and she is determined to stay in this field.
Listening to her, she seems to be a woman who is not afraid of anything, whose strength is equalled only by her nerve and her passion to reveal the flavours of Africa to the world.
Curious, tenacious and free, she takes up the challenges that come her way without ever getting discouraged, welcoming each experience positively.
Today, she is self-employed and has been wearing many hats.
After having worked with the greatest French starred chefs, after having received numerous awards, including the one for the greatest creativity, during the final of the prestigious competition "La Cuillère d'Or", in 2018. She makes her mark wherever she goes.
She is the emblematic figure of Afro Cooking magazine, of which she is the artistic director, and is also the president of "We Eat Africa", the first festival of African cuisines. Author of the book bout d'Afrique, since 2019, she can be found on Canal + as presenter of the programme "Rendez-vous".
One thing is for sure, we feel galvanized, reboosted by listening to Le Chef Anto.
I had a lot of fun recording this episode and I hope you will have as much fun listening to it and enjoying it.
Enjoy your listening.
